(GL GH) to carry out a wave energy market analysis to help inform the Northwest National Marine Renewable Energy Center (NNMREC)'s plan for developing a full-scale, grid-connected, open ocean test center for wave energy converters: the South Energy Test Site (SETS) at the Pacific Marine Energy Center (PMEC).The objective of this report is to identify potential clients and their needs based on the current and future (the next 5 to 10 years) requirements of the wave energy industry.The report is structured as follows:Sector profile: this section includes the analysis of the current market offering and market trends, an overview of similar facilities and the identification of potential end-users;Stakeholder consultation: this section presents the results of the survey addressed to technology developers. The objective of this consultation was to define core target technical and service requirements;Gap analysis: based on the results of the previous phases, this section compares developers' requirements and preferences with both site conditions at the proposed location and an initial proposed technical offering for PMEC SETS.Key findings and concluding remarks are summarized in the final section of this report.
