AB - This short paper will present a review of the work done on the last decade on the numerical modelling of 3-blade horizontal axis turbines at Dalhousie University. This work looked at aspect of the modelling method, impact of Bay of Fundy representative flow conditions, the nature of the wake generated by a turbine, the interaction between turbines and elements related to the loading of blades.
