Heat Research and Development

Heat Research and Development was established in Akureyri, Iceland, on July 15th 2011 under the Icelandic name of "Varmalausnir" which translates as "Heat solutions". We provide technical assistance and equipment to both researchers and industry. Our experience includes providing refrigeration units to the food industry in Iceland and instrumentation for supercritical geothermal environment.

Our operation is on the Kelvin scale, from very low to very high, at pressures ranging from vacuum to 1000 bar.
