Centre for Ocean Energy Research (COER): 2024 Wave Energy Workshop

The Centre for Ocean Energy Research (COER) at Maynooth University Ireland will host its 9^th workshop event on Friday 26^th January 2024. 

The scope of the workshop will cover a range of topics across wave energy conversion, with a broad focus on control co-design, and WEC control with an industry session, and will feature a range of presentations from international and local speakers, including James Allison from the University of Illinois, with some focus on the SFI project entitled “Economic wave energy through technical innovation (SeaChange)”. An open forum discussion will also be hosted with the theme: “What magic dust does wave energy need to break through?”

The event is limited to 100 delegates (places allocated on a first-come, first-served basis).
