Marine laboratories provide crucial access to the environment for researchers, generating valuable knowledge on environmental change and biological responses through multi-disciplinary research. They play a key role in community education and citizen science, acting as communication hubs for scientific information. As ocean sentinels, these laboratories must collaborate to enhance observation and response to global environmental challenges. The One Ocean Seminar Series aims to connect researchers from marine laboratories worldwide. The speakers for this sessions are: Prof David Paterson from Marine Alliance for Science & Technology for Scotland (MASTS), and Dr Serena Teo from St. Johns Island National Marine Laboratory (SJINML).
