Supergen Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE)'s upcoming Masterclass offers a comprehensive understanding of the economic and policy setting that shapes the sector’s development. This two-day programme explores a big-picture analysis, providing insights into private and public sector attitudes that influence the future of offshore renewable energy.
Led by Professor Henry Jeffrey, recipient of Ocean Energy Europe’s Vi Maris Award, this Masterclass draws on his expertise as head of the Policy and Innovation Group at the University of Edinburgh’s Institute for Energy Systems.
The Masterclass includes a hands-on exercise where participants will assume the role of consultants advising an energy ministry and receive feedback from a panel of experts. In addition, participants will visit the FloWave Facilities, a state-of-the-art wave and current simulation tank, to gain a first-hand look at the latest testing innovations in offshore renewable energy.
