Pan American Marine Energy Conference (PAMEC 2020)

The newly formed PAMEC.Energy Association is hosting its first Marine Renewable Energy Conference in San Jose, Costa Rica from January 26-28, 2020. The conference will cover a wide range of topics from technical to socioeconomic and envrionmental issues associated with the development of renewable energy on and from the ocean. Pan-American Marine Energy Conferences are designed to complement similar research collaboration conferences in Europe (European Wave and Tidal Energy Conferences or EWTEC) and in Asia (Asian Wave and Tidal Energy Conference or AWTEC). The PAMEC.Energy Association was established to be an ongoing organization to provide continuity between Conferences, and to support research and development in a range of marine renewable energy activities including offshore wind, wave, tidal, and thermal currents.
