We are delighted to be joined by Marine Energy Test Area (META) and the ORE Catapult Marine Energy Engineering Centre (MEECE) for the next webinar in our series. This session will explore the current landscape of the marine energy industry in Wales and a deep dive into the practical experience of at-sea testing.
Through case studies from at sea test programmes conducted at META's pre-consented testing facilities in Milford Haven Waterway, the webinar will examine the benefits and practical challenges of testing technologies in open-water conditions.
META and OREC will also share insights from their collaborations with universities and researchers and discuss upcoming opportunities for future research collaborations and how new research can help drive innovation in marine energy.
