Changchun University of Architecture and Civil Engineering

Changchun Institute of Architecture was founded in 2000, originally named the School of Architectural Decoration at Jilin Institute of Architectural Engineering; In 2004, it was recognized by the Ministry of Education as an independent college; In 2011, with approval from the Ministry of Education, it was converted into a private regular undergraduate higher education institution and renamed Changchun Institute of Architecture; In 2015, it was approved as one of the first pilot schools for overall transformation and development in Jilin Province; In 2017, it was designated by Jilin Province as a project construction unit for master's degree conferral rights; In 2019, it passed the Ministry of Education's Undergraduate Teaching Qualification Evaluation. The university is one of the first pilot universities in Jilin Province for the comprehensive reform of "All-round Education." In 2025, it will rank 12th in the Alumni Association China Private University Ranking (Category I), ranking among the top 12 nationwide.
