The Engineering Committee on Oceanic Resources (ECOR) is an international, non-governmental, professional engineering organization, whose aims are:

  • To provide a forum for the exchange of information and views on engineering matters relating to the exploration and exploitation of ocean resources.
  • To promote, initiate and co-ordinate study, research and development into the exploration and exploitation of ocean resources.
  • To advise government and intergovernmental organizations on engineering matters relating to the exploration and exploitation of ocean resources.

ECOR delivers on its aims through: publications, meetings, courses, its website, and the work of its Specialist Panels and ad hoc Working Groups.
