Gekom was founded in 2007 with the aim of adopting, unifying and improving the existing knowledge in the field of geophysical (atmospheric physics, physical oceanography, hydrology) and ecological modeling (water and air quality, population dynamics, vegetation dynamics, biomass production, etc.), in order to support the effective solution of environmental problems.

GEKOM's specialist services and ecological modeling are applicable in a wide range of projects in the field of renewable energy, environmental protection, nature protection, risk assessment, management of natural resources, optimization of buildings and other projects on the sea, land and inland waters and the like.
