Instituto Hidrográfico

Instituto Hidrográfico is a state laboratory, integrated in the Portuguese Navy, dedicated to the sciences and technologies of the Sea.

Its mission is to ensure research and development activities related to marine science and techniques - with a view to their military application - and to contribute - as a reference State laboratory at national and international level. dedicated to ocean research - for the development of the country and for the defense of the marine environment.
