Korea-Indonesia Marine Technology Cooperation Research Center (MTCRC)

MTCRC is an intergovernmental joint research center in marine science and technology between Korea and Indonesia. It was established on 14 September 2018 at the Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB) campus in Cirebon, under an MoU between Korea's Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (MOF) and Indonesia's Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment, and is operated by the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST) and ITB. Its purpose is to strengthen practical cooperation through joint research projects and capacity-building programs.
