The National Center for Meteorological Research (CNRM) is a joint research unit (UMR3589) with Météo-France supervision and the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). Relevant and better suited weather forecasts for end users together with a more realistic numerical prediction minimizing uncertainties about climate changes are the two main meteorological and climatic goals of today that are tackled by their international research programmes.
