OceanBased Perpetual Energy

Over the last 10 years, OceanBased Perpetual Energy has sought to harness ocean current energy to yield environmentally friendly, renewable, sustainable and commercially viable power. Their mission is to produce energy that operates perpetually, 24 hours a day.

OceanBased, with the support of their strategic partners, is a developer of Ocean Current Energy solutions that will ultimately be installed and connected to America’s power grid and other end users.

Through their research, they have identified sections of the powerful Florida Gulf Stream as the optimal zone to harness that energy. Located in the Atlantic Ocean approximately 15 miles off the east coast of South Florida, this area contains the potential for clean power that they believe will be a disruptor and a game changer.

Now, they have established a presence in South Florida to launch what could be one of the largest renewable energy projects in the world. OceanBased plans to develop the technology and manufacturing supply lines, and secure the necessary licensing and permitting to commercialize ocean current energy and change the course for renewable energy as baseload-capable clean power.
