Thammasat University
Thammasat University, founded in 1934, is a national autonomous public institution offering more than 240 academic programs across 33 faculties and colleges. It operates multiple campuses—most notably Tha Phra Chan in central Bangkok and Rangsit in Pathum Thani—serving nearly 40,000 students and supported by over 2,000 academic staff. Originally established as the University of Moral and Political Sciences, it has since developed into a comprehensive university covering fields such as law, economics, engineering, architecture, medicine, public health, and liberal arts. Today, Thammasat is recognized for its international-standard curricula, extensive research activity, and wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs offered in Thai and English.
