Universidad de Guanajuato

The University of Guanajuato is an institution with a great tradition in the field of knowledge. It has its origins from 1732, in a College. Subsequently, it became a University in 1945. In 1994, our house of studies acquired its university autonomy. Later, in 2008, it underwent an intense transformation in its academic organization model.

Currently, our house of studies has two subsystems: the Upper Middle Level subsystem and the Higher Level system. The Upper Middle Level represented by schools; and the Higher Level, by university campus, with divisions and academic departments with presence in different regions of the state of Guanajuato.
