Abstract
There is a great potential for the Western of Iberia Coast to become a renewable energy producer within the next few years. However, Ocean-based renewable-energy will require research and information about ocean conditions and processes before they can be fully developed. RAIA Observatory can contribute to the development and integration of renewable-energy sources into the Western Iberia Coast, through better atmospheric and oceanic observations, models, forecasts, and analysis tools. In this paper, we focus on the description of the Xunta de Galicia services which are integrated into RAIA Observatory.
