Abstract
Several concepts of Wave Energy Converters (WECs) exist: some are well-proven by abundant literature, and already implemented in working devices, others are just at a preliminary design phase. Up to date, many devices have been proposed, several built and tested as models, and a few have been put in experimental operation at sea.
