Based on the strong groundwork and outstanding achievements in the developing and industrialization of Li-ion batteries, nanocrystalline solar cell, solid state lighting, the Renewable Energy Laboratory, Institution of Physics was founded in May 2009. The foundation of Renewable Energy Laboratory greatly condenses the research power of the Institution of Physics in clear energy and effective engery-saving; it also keeps with the requirement for the laboratory development of the Institution of Physics and our nation.
