Centro Mexicano de Innovación en Energía del Océano (CEMIE-Océano)

The Mexican Center for Innovation in Ocean Energy (CEMIE-Océano) is a multidisciplinary core provider of applied research, technological development and innovation, aimed at the extraction of various forms of energy from the ocean, its conversion and distribution, through the union of the capabilities of academia, industry and government.
Its mission is to generate innovative products, techniques and technologies that exploit the diversity of ocean energy resources available to sustainably and profitably supply an increasing part of the energy demand of the Mexican Republic.
