Jupiter Hydro has developed a patented tidal and river technology that they believe will prove to be the most cost effective in-stream energy conversion technology in the world. Ross Sinclaire, the Jupiter Founder and inventor of the technology 9 years ago felt that the bottom mounted technologies being developed were too expensive mainly because it was too costly to install them and far too costly to maintain them. Their helical turbines have demonstrated consistent performance characteristics at high rates of efficiency under controlled testing.
