Luoyang Ship Material Research Institute

Luoyang Ship Material Research Institute (LSMRI),  was founded in 1961 in Beijing and moved to an ancient and famous city--Luoyang in 1971. LSMRI is a comprehensive institution that focuses on the R&D and application of shipbuilding materials. LSMRI has developed into a comprehensive institute with 9 research departments, 9 holding companies, 4 national testing centers and 4 sea environment testing centers. LSMRI has spread out branches in Beijing, Shanghai, Qingdao, Xiamen, Dongguan, Sanya and so on. Following a management system named as “One institute - Two managing systems” was implemented by LSMRI. The institute focuses on the R&D and the SUNRUI Group focuses on the industrial production and application.
