Mugla Sitki Kocman University

A public university in southwestern Türkiye, established in 1992 and named after Sıtkı Koçman, a businessman whose foundation funded much of its early development. The main Kötekli campus sits a few kilometers south of Muğla city center. Its faculties include Arts & Sciences, Economics & Administrative Sciences, Engineering, Education, Medicine, and — relevant given the Aegean coastal setting — a Faculty of Fisheries with marine sciences and aquaculture programs.
