Waveco
Waveco is a technology innovator dedicated to contributing to the global green energy transformation. We do that by adapting the proven principle of the wind turbines to the ocean space beneath the waves.
Air and water are both fluids and follow the same physical laws. But water is much denser. While the wind turbine blades sweep over a diameter of up to 200 meters, the diameter of the Subwave turbine will be up to 20 meters.
The Subwave turbines operate below the active wave zone, safely away from the harsh surface environment, with its storms and marine growth. The turbines hang in cables from sturdy buoys on the surface. Wave energy is relayed to them via these cables.
