Abstract
Research in wave power electricity generation is a reality in many parts of the world with particular impetus in the Basque Country where the Mutriku Wave Power Plant is actively commercializing its production since 2011. A necessary step to make wave energy a solid alternative to power our cities is to improve its oneday-ahead forecast. We analyse Mutriku’s newly recorded production data and propose a set of models to forecast and find the determinants of this production.
