Hangzhou Applied Acoustics Research Institute

Hangzhou Institute of Applied Acoustics was founded in 1958. It is the earliest research institute engaged in the research of hydroacoustic electronic engineering and the development of ultrasonic and non-acoustic detection equipment. Hangzhou Ruili Technology Co., Ltd. is a technology industry platform company of the 715th Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Industry.

The institute is mainly engaged in the research, development and production of underwater acoustic electronic equipment and marine equipment. It is currently the largest and strongest key military backbone research institute engaged in the research and production of sonar equipment and the backbone of the national defense technology industry.
