Ludong University

Ludong University (simplified Chinese: 鲁东大学; traditional Chinese: 魯東大學; pinyin: Lǔdōng Dàxué) is a public university based in Zhifu district of Yantai, Shandong province, China. Founded in 1958, it was first known as Yantai Teachers College (烟台师范专科学校) and since 1984 as Yantai Normal University (烟台师范学院). The school was awarded full university status in 2006. Ludong University has developed into a comprehensive university, offering 48 majors in arts and sciences.
