Abstract

The objective of this investigation is to construct a feasibility index applied to the generation of SGE in the Colombian Caribbean region, considering technical, environmental, governmental, economic, and social factors. The multidimensional assessment of the feasibility of these energies in Colombia can be a valuable tool for planning and decision-making in the energy sector, as well as for identifying opportunities for the development of marine renewable energies in the country.
