Abstract
This paper in dedicated of the explanation and validation of the Electronic Cam method for controlling a Wavemaker equipment, as well for giving a wider perspective for ways to bring this kind of technologies to smaller projects benefited. Once went through the concept of The Electronic Cam controlling and the equipment used for the development, the authors describe the methodology of wave generation system, the mathematical routine needed for coordinate generation, and the algorithm used in control and generation software. For widening the perspective of the study, the authors also analyzed the proprieties of ultrasonic measuring in moving angular liquids as well as the issues with the sensor itself. By separating each part of the issue, then gathering in a conclusion, this work presents the offsets between the theoretical situations and the real observed test results, highlighting the limitations and structure related abnormalities distorting the results.
