Movement of ice in various forms that may pose a threat to the survivability of a device.
Ice refers to frozen water in various forms (e.g. frazil ice) that poses a threat to survivability, and can affect the deployment, performance, maintenance, and decommissioning of a device. Ice typically occurs during extreme events (e.g. storms). However, depending on the deployment location (e.g. polar regions), ice can also occur during operational conditions.
