China State Shipbuilding Corp Ltd (CSSCL) is a manufacturer of shipboard equipment and a provider of shipbuilding services covering both naval and civil, ship-repair, and marine design and research activities. It also designs and constructs ships that comply with the standards set by international classification societies. The company builds warships, auxiliary vessels, and related equipment for the Chinese Navy. It also offers a broad spectrum of tankers, self-unloading ships, container ships, passenger ferries, lifeboats, diesel engines, deck machinery and anchors. CSSCL manufactures bulk carriers and modern vessels such as LNG carriers, very large crude carriers, chemical carriers, passenger freight ships, container ships, LPG carriers, self-unloading ships, high speed ships, civil ships and offshore engineering. CSSCL is headquartered in Shanghai, China.
