Abstract
The EPRI North American Tidal In Stream Energy Conversion (TISEC) Power Project will demonstrate the feasibility of tidal current power to provide efficient, reliable, environmentally friendly and cost-effective electrical energy and to create a push towards the development of sustainable commercial market for this technology.
The purpose of this guideline document is to provide a methodology that will enable the Project Team to estimate the power and energy production of different TISEC devices at various sites with their native tidal stream flow climate.
