Manufacturing refers to the production of products for the marine renewable energy industry. As manufacturing processes for making advanced composites, for example, become faster and more efficient, cost, time, and energy reductions could be seen throughout the industry. Manufacturing is typically discussed in relation to cost assessments, levelized cost of energy, supply chains, materials, and structural design.
