Performance

Analysis of device performance in various conditions or operating modes.

Performance refers to a device’s effectiveness in capturing and converting a source of energy (i.e., wave energy, tidal energy) in various conditions or operating modes. A device’s performance will depend on numerous factors, including the device’s hydrodynamics, power take off mechanism, control strategy, and structural design, as well as the conditions and energy potential at a particular site.
