Array effects refer to the impacts of multiple devices together or their interaction. Array effects are often discussed in relation to grid integration, hydrodynamics, and performance. Each device in an array will remove energy and create turbulence in its wake, so research has focused on optimum array configurations, wake effects, and performance constraints.
