How devices integrate with the electrical grid, including storage.

Grid integration involves developing efficient ways to deliver high quality electricity generated by marine renewable energy devices to the electrical grid. The main challenge with integrating renewable resources is addressing the variability and uncertainty in these resources in a cost-efficient manner. Energy storage technologies such as batteries may provide a solution for balancing input into the grid as the marine renewable energy industry reaches the commercial stage.
